Program Description

Event Details

Come be a part of an inclusive and empowering event where adults with disabilities, along with their caregivers, can participate in a vibrant drum circle led by our very own Librarian/Musician Liza Purdy! In this safe and welcoming space, participants will have the opportunity to play percussion, designed to stimulate the senses and enhance overall well-being. This activity is about self-expression, creativity, and connection through rhythm. Drumming has been shown to improve focus, reduce stress, and provide therapeutic benefits. It’s a wonderful way to engage in meaningful social interaction, improve coordination, and promote relaxation. Don’t miss this chance to bond with others in a joyful, non-judgmental environment. Everyone is welcome!
