Event Details
Author and animal trainer/ Sam Sherdel will read from her book (yet to be published). Sam will bring the animals that are stars of the book and children will be able to touch them. We will also have a contest prior to the event so the winners can be front of the line or win a chance to feed worms to the bearded dragon or strawberries to the tortoise.
Children can pick up an entry form at the Children’s Desk or the Circulation Desk. Completed forms should go into Robi’s pouch (our Robot friend in the Children’s area). All entries are due by December 29 and winners will be contacted on December 30.
A front of the line pass gives a group of up to four people early entry ten minutes before the event. A feeding ticket lets one child feed an animal a special treat like strawberries or worms.
Passes can be picked up any time before January 8.
